Frequently Asked Questions about Mountainview Baptist Church

• Do you provide a Nursery?
  Yes, a nursery is provided for all our services. When you enter the foyer, the nursery is located down the hallway on the left. The nursery is the second door on the left, just before the auditorium.
• Which Bible should I bring?
  All preaching, teaching, and Scripture reading is done out of the King James Bible. If you do not have a Bible, we have one for you! Please feel free to ask one of the ushers, and they will be glad to give you a Bible.
• Do you have Sunday School classes for children/youth?
  Yes, Mountainview Baptist Church offers different classes for children of all ages. The kids meet with their parents in the main auditorium and then they are dismissed by the songleader after a few songs, and Bible Sword Drills. There are Sunday School classes for all ages, including the adults. We also have a Youth Group that meets on Wednesdays, and a Kid's Club that meets on Thursdays.
• What should I wear?
  If you attend one of our church services, we will be happy that you came, regardless of how "dressed up" you are. Most attendees dress in "traditional-church-going-wear". If they do "dress up", it is simply out of respect, and not because of a "church dress code". Our main goal is that you feel welcome on your visit here at Mountainview Baptist!
• Am I expected to give something in the Offering?
  No. We did not invite you to Mountainview Baptist Church for your offering. The offering plate is passed because we expect our church members to give of their tithes & offerings to the Lord's work. However, you are invited as our guest, and our church service is a gift to you.
• Which entrance do I use?
  For now, the main entrance for the building is located at the West side of the building. Handicap parking is also available on the West side of the building. In the Future, our building & entrances will change.
• Do you make visitors stand up?
  No, we do not make visitors stand up and tell us who they are. Before the offering, the pastor will ask if there are any first time visitors, and upon raising of your hand an usher will hand you a visitors packet for you to keep. In the packet will be a vistiors card for you to fill out and place in the offering plate so that we may keep a record of your visit.
